Throughout my career, I've searched for ways to alleviate my clients' suffering, ways that are RAPID and EFFECTIVE and LONG-LASTING. To my great surprise, that search eventually led me to Past Life Depth Therapy!

But let's start at the beginning.

​

My early life was kind of a Dark Night of the Soul, a mixture of trauma and religious confusion. School became my haven, but despite good grades, I never felt like I belonged.

​

Then in college, two things really helped. Encounter therapy groups led by the inspired and charismatic therapist, Ron Kurtz, began to unravel my distress. And a profound LSD journey opened my heart and poured in a stream of transpersonal love. 

​

The therapy groups helped us understand we were not the only ones carrying pain. We came to see that trauma stunts our growth; trauma robs us of trust in ourselves; trauma impedes both practical achievements and spiritual realization.
 

To my dying day I will thank the young man I was for wisely deciding to become a therapist. That young man had the insight that helping others heal is an exceedingly worthwhile mission in life.
 

That one decision led to a Masters degree in Psychology and a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Georgia State University.

It led to a life long journey through schools of therapy, looking for approaches that really work in alleviating suffering and promoting growth. Among others, I studied and practiced Gestalt therapy, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).

My seeking was spurred on both by an insatiable curiosity and a secret belief that I really didn't belong in the community of therapists.

​

I needed something more.

​

The memory of that LSD trip stayed with me. I journeyed through a series of psilocybin treatments in Portland, Oregon. Psilocybin gave me the most profound trauma healing I have ever experienced!

​

And, to my utter astonishment, awakened an intense curiosity in past lives, which led to my taking a year of professional training and eight months of additional supervision to be awarded the diploma by the Past Life Regression Academy.
